Overview
This two day class will cover the following elements:
- Project Planning and Evaluation
- Advanced Strategic Funding Research
- Grant Proposal Writing
- Advanced Fundraising Strategies
The Masterclass in Project Planning and Funding Acquisition is a two-day, intensive and interactive experience in which participants will be led through the project development, grant writing, and funding acquisition processes through the completion of four courses.
This Masterclass is not a seminar. Participants will actively engage in exercises and activities designed to strengthen their mastery of grant acquisition. Through the completion of varying assignments, students will leave the Masterclass with a real grant proposal outline complete with quality research, solid content, and expert review.
This Masterclass focuses on combining the fundamentals of grant proposal writing with expert knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles.
The Masterclass is complete with advanced communication and persuasion techniques, customised grant programs for each participant, and valuable course material that acts as a resource long after the course is complete.
Definitely an organisational investment, the culmination of the course is materialised by the completion of the Development Dossier which will allow the recipient an advanced foundation for future project planning, fundraising pursuits, funding applications, and organisation development efforts.
Who is this Masterclass suitable for?
This Masterclass is ideal for an active member of a not-for-profit, community group, local government or charity organisation that are seeking funding. It is ideal for someone who already has a project in mind and may or may not have identified suitable funding for it. Their experience may be nil or they may have completed a few applications and are looking to hone their skills further.

Some comments from past participants.....
"The chance to attend Sally Hunter's Masterclass came at just the right time. I had recently stepped into a volunteer role as fund-raising manager of a small charity experiencing rapid and unanticipated growth, and had little previous experience in this capacity.
Sally's unique mix of background knowledge, experience and resources - combined with an engaging and supportive presentation style - have enabled me to learn the fundamentals necessary for understanding my role. I now have the skills and confidence to fine-tune my grant-seeking research, and to develop and write grant applications and related documents.
I recommend Sally Hunter's workshops and masterclasses to anyone who needs to become a successful grant-seeker and grant-writer on behalf of a non-profit organisation, charity, or community group."
Margi McDonald, Volunteer, Givit, Brisbane, Qld |
"Sally was an excellent facilitator and I enjoyed her approach to teaching. She was knowledgeable and had some great ideas."
Tania Ferfolja, University of Western Sydney, NSW |
"Sally has extensive knowledge and experience that saw the course worthwhile and saw each participant supported through their particular grant writing needs." Kim Reid, KYC Trust, Brisbane, Qld |
